Fix Office Chair Gas Cylinder
If you bought your chair at Staples, OfficeMax, Costco, Office Depot, Sam's Club, BJ's, Target or any other big box chain store, these chairs typically have the same specs, so our Universal Office Chair Replacement Spring will likely work and you can have it in your office in a jiff. We carry these in stock!

The old, broken cylinder can be tough to remove as it has been in place in your chair for many years. It requires some muscle to remove. Some folks don't want to be bothered with that. Or maybe the cylinder won't break free from the five-footed wheel base making the lower half of the chair useless.
Sometimes the widest part of the cylinder is not the standard size of 2" wide making it difficult to get a replacement cylinder to fit in the five-footed base. It can sometimes be easier to replace new parts instead of buying a single part, removing other parts of the chair and reassembling them.
In these instances, we provide a combination kit that includes all the parts for the lower half of the office chair that includes a replacement cylinder, a five-footed wheel base and five casters. We also provide a combination kit that includes a tilt lever mechanism. All you need do here is screw in the mechanism to the bottom of the seat and assemble the rest of the parts. Easy peasy!
