Metal washer
Five pointed bearing touches the bottom inside of the outer tube
These all go in the inside of the black tube.
You
have an additional metal washer that's supposed to go out the outside
of the outer tube along with the retaining clip.
Slide
the cylinder through the outer tube and chair base, the end of the
cylinder must stick out of the outer tube just a tiny bit to attach the
metal washer and retaining clip. Add the last metal washer. It should be
flush with the bottom outside of the outer tube. You will see an
indentation at the end tip of the cylinder. Slide the clip through the
indentation. You're done.
