Convert a Steelcase Leap Chair to Stool Height

This kit is for Leap chairs made from 2/2000 to present day.
 
Do you need to sit higher in your regular height Leap office chair by Steelcase? This is our stool height Leap chair conversion kit. Our kit provides an affordable method to raise a standard height Leap chair to stool height. Our kit will get you sitting at stool height in no time so you can work more efficiently! Just replace your current cylinder with our stool-height cylinder, add our foot ring and you're in business!
 
Our Steelcase Leap stool conversion hardware is available in two options:
  1. For all V1 version Leap chairs AND V2 Leap chairs made from 2/2000 through 1/8/09 (Gas cylinder contains a top-activation button)
  2. For Leap chairs made after 1/9/09 (Gas cylinder contains a side activated lever)

If you're not sure which version Leap chair you have, please check the production date on the manufacturer's label under the seat of your Leap chair.

DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT IF THE TILT CANNOT BE LOCKED. IT IS DANGEROUS TO RAISE THE HEIGHT OF A CHAIR TO DRAFTING HEIGHT IF YOUR CHAIR BACK CAN FREELY TILT BACKWARDS.
