If the plastic gear that holds the seat pan in place is broken, our replacement Life seat-height lock hardware will get your chair working like new!
It's simple to slide out a Knoll life seat. Turn the chair upside down and release the seat depth lever. Pull the seat all of the way out. If the seat depth lock is broken, the seat will slide completely off the chair regardless of the chair position. With the seat removed, it's easy to view and replace the Knoll Life depth lock mechanism part.
