You can now replace your Aeron Chair Tilt Mechanism with us. If your chair is loose rocking backwards, leans forward, is stuck backwards, or is stuck leaning forwards, you can switch out your tilt mechanism on your Herman Miller Aeron chair. It's a "swap program" so it involves self removal and self installation and sending your old tilt mechanism on your Aeron chair back to receive a replacement one.
Here's how it works:
1. Purchase the tilt mechanism replacement on this product page.
2. We will send you a prepaid postage label and a processing form to mail your old one back to us.
3. You will need to remove your old tilt mechanism from your chair. You will need to be a little handy to do this. You'll need a torx bit wrench.
4. YOU MUST KEEP THE CABLES FOR YOUR ADJUSTMENTS WITH YOU. DO NOT MAIL THEM TO US.
5. Once your tilt is removed, you will mail the tilt along with the info form to the address on the label and instructions provided.
6. Within 7-10 days, your replacement tilt will be shipped to you for you to install.
- These are reconditioned tilt mechanisms that have been inspected for use.
- There is a 2 year limited warranty on these tilt mechanisms.
- Refunds are available minus the cost of shipping.
